§1.General Provisions

  1. This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for processing and protecting personal data provided by users in connection with their use of the services offered by the Lion Apartments website (hereinafter: the Service).
  2. The administrator of the personal data contained on the Service is LION MANAGEMENT SP. Z O.O., Sopot 81-771, Smolna 1D, registered under the taxpayer identification number NIP: 5851501532 (hereinafter: ADO).

§2. Personal Data Protection

  1. In order to ensure the security of entrusted personal data, ADO operates based on internal procedures and guidelines consistent with relevant legal acts on personal data protection, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
  2. ADO exercises special care to protect the interests of data subjects, and in particular ensures that personal data are: a. processed lawfully
    a) processed lawfully,
    b) collected for specified, lawful purposes and not further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes,
    c) substantively correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed,
    d) stored in a form enabling identification of the data subjects no longer than necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.
  3. ADO performs functions of obtaining information about users and their behavior through voluntary submission of information in forms, for the purposes of: a. responding to users' inquiries sent via the contact form pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR,
    a) responding to users' inquiries sent via the contact form pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR,
    b) accepting reservations using the online booking system pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR,
    c) providing services offered by ADO pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR,
    d) marketing, including sending commercial information to email addresses if the client has consented by selecting the appropriate option during the booking process pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent for processing data for marketing purposes and sending commercial information may be withdrawn by clicking the appropriate link in the received message or by sending such a request to the ADO's email address,
    e) fulfilling ADO's legitimate interest in certain cases pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, e.g., debt collection.

§3. Cookies

  1. 1. Upon first visit to the Scala Apartments website, the user is informed about the use of cookies. By staying on the site, the user accepts the use of cookies on the website. Failure to change browser settings by the user is tantamount to consenting to the use of cookies.
  2. Changes to cookie settings will take effect after restarting or refreshing the session on the ADO website.

    a) improving and supporting the reservation process,

  1. ADO may use automated decision-making, including profiling, for marketing purposes (including automated matching of advertisements to your interests and measuring their effectiveness), and to tailor offers pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
  2. Recipients of personal data may be authorities, institutions, and entities entitled under the law, as well as entities providing services to ADO (e.g., legal, IT, marketing, accounting, and other entities involved in fulfilling the ordered service).

The right to data portability does not apply because there is no established standard for data exchange between hotel facilities.

  10. ADO reserves the right to amend the privacy policy of the service, which may be caused by the development of Internet technology, potential changes in personal data protection law, and the development of the Service. Users will be informed of any changes in a clear and visible manner.
