Kościuszko Square and Seaside Boulevard
The most famous place in Gdynia and an essential stop on every trip is undoubtedly the Kościuszko Square. It is the main entertainment and relaxation spot for the residents of Gdynia and tourists who want to take a walk and see numerous maritime attractions such as the historic destroyer "ORP Błyskawica" and the sailing ship "Dar Pomorza". It is the only place where within a 10-minute walk you can find venues for events and cultural entertainment, the port waterfront, and even a sandy beach adjacent to the yacht basin.
Unforgettable experiences from the depths of the sea are offered by the Oceanographic Museum and Marine Aquarium located here. From here, you can also take a cruise ship to the Hel Peninsula or Gdańsk. Walking enthusiasts can stroll along the nearby Coastal Boulevard. This most famous promenade runs between the foot of Kamienna Góra and Kępa Redłowska, and the Gulf of Gdańsk. It connects the beach in the city center with the beach in Redłowo.
